fleuve<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb \u00e9tait le port de la Rome antique, situ\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;embouchure du Tibre, \u00e0 35&nbsp;km au sud-ouest de Rome (du fait de l&rsquo;ensablement, le site se trouve d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur des terres).<br \/>\nLe port antique importait les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales, l&rsquo;huile d&rsquo;olive, le vin, le garum et les autres marchandises en provenance de tout le monde romain, qui \u00e9taient ensuite achemin\u00e9es jusqu&rsquo;au port fluvial de l&rsquo;Emporium.<br \/>\nLa ville portuaire, abandonn\u00e9e \u00e0 la fin de l&rsquo;Empire romain, conserve des rues et des b\u00e2timents antiques, en particulier des entrep\u00f4ts, des boutiques, des sanctuaires et des immeubles d&rsquo;habitation (insulae), parfois sur une hauteur de plusieurs \u00e9tages.<br \/>\nElle est parfois confondue avec l&rsquo;actuelle ville d&rsquo;Ostie qui se trouve non loin de l\u00e0 sur le littoral, ainsi qu&rsquo;avec la localit\u00e9 d&rsquo;Ostia Antica qui se situe \u00e0 proximit\u00e9.<br \/>\n<em><strong>Ostie<\/strong><\/em> est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa conservation le site antique le plus riche en documents \u00e9pigraphiques apr\u00e8s la ville de Rome, avec environ 6,500&nbsp;inscriptions recens\u00e9es en 2006, allant de la p\u00e9riode r\u00e9publicaine tardive \u00e0 la fin du Bas-Empire.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element
