Le Territoire chilien de l’Antarctique<\/strong> est une r\u00e9gion de l’Antarctique, situ\u00e9e entre les 53\u00b0 et 90\u00b0 de longitude ouest.
\nIl est revendiqu\u00e9 par le gouvernement chilien et fait partie int\u00e9grante du pays, depuis 1940, en la consid\u00e9rant comme une province de la r\u00e9gion XII.
\nL’Antarctique<\/strong> est le continent le plus m\u00e9ridional de la Terre.
\nSitu\u00e9 autour du p\u00f4le Sud, il est entour\u00e9 de l’oc\u00e9an Austral ou (oc\u00e9an Antarctique<\/em>).
\nL’Antarctique<\/strong> est le continent le plus froid, le plus sec et le plus venteux.
\nSeuls des plantes et des animaux adapt\u00e9s au froid, au manque de lumi\u00e8re et \u00e0 l’aridit\u00e9 y survivent,
